Sunday, November 14, KJT Society #87 will hold its annual Turkey Bingo in the parish hall of St. Matthew Catholic Church, located on the corner of Hwy. 16 and Maple Street in Jourdanton. Doors open at 12 noon and games start at 12.30 pm

Proceeds from this event will be donated to Kids Unlimited Foundation, a nonprofit in the Houston area created to help children with cancer. The foundation offers a variety of fun activities for these kids and their families, such as fishing tournaments, a BBQ cook-off, Family Camp Weekend with plenty of outdoor activities, games, and crafts, as well as holiday events and group outings to Houston sporting events in the region.

The Kids Unlimited Foundation’s mission statement is: “If we can help these children forget the horrible existence of cancer, even for a moment, our dreams will become reality.” For more information, visit kidsunlimited.org.

Come help St. Matthew Parish support this amazing foundation and potentially win your turkey for the upcoming holiday season. The Knights of Columbus and the St. Matthew’s Women’s Guild will prepare burgers, and there will be chips and drinks, as well as baked goods to buy, so come hungry. Until Sunday!
