Virginia pediatrician arrested for sexually assaulting patients

According to Prince William County police, a Virginia pediatrician has been arrested after sexually assaulting two young patients.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. – According to Prince William County police, a Virginia pediatrician has been arrested for sexually assaulting two young victims while practicing drugs.

In November 2020, the Prince William Police Department’s Special Victims Unit began an investigation into a reported sexual assault at the Potomac Pediatrics PC at 2296 Opitz Boulevard in Woodbridge, according to information provided to WUSA9 by the department.

The investigation related to reported sexual assaults that took place between October 2014 and November 2020 by Leonard Lee Touchette, PWPD said.

Police said one of Touchette’s victims was a woman who was a girl between the ages of 11 and 17 at the time of the reported crimes.

According to the police, the assaults took place more than once during that period.

When WUSA9 asked if there might be any more victims, police said that “we will definitely investigate any allegations brought to our attention.”

Touchette has been charged with 2 counts of sexual penetration of objects, according to PWPD.
