When diagnosed with an aggressive cancer called glioblastoma, The Wanted singer claims he has responded well to treatment and his tumor has gotten smaller.
Tom Parker and his wife Kelsey plan to have more children. The wanted singer has undergone chemotherapy and radiotherapy after being diagnosed with glioblastoma from an aggressive cancer.
According to the couple, Tom has responded well to the treatment and the tumor has shrunk, with the couple now looking forward to the future of their family.
Glad You Came singer Tom had expected his second child, son Bhodi, with his wife when he was diagnosed with the disease, and now he and Kelsey hope to give him and his daughter Aurelia a sibling.
I speak with OK! magazine, Kelsey said, “We plan to have more kids – I’ve always wanted a big family and I think we’ll have four in the end.”
“There is only a 16 month age difference between our two children and it has certainly been a lot, even without taking into account our circumstances, so I will not have more children who are close in age – that was once enough, ”she added.
She went on to say that she and Tom have decided how to tell their children about Tom’s tumor when they are old enough to understand.
“I want them to know that life isn’t always rosy, but we’re getting through it. I know we’ll say, ‘Daddy has a brain tumor, but he’s fighting it,’ ” added Kelsey.
“We look to our future with nothing but positivity. Tom will always be my Tom and we’ll get through it together, as we always do.”
