HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – A nonprofit health organization is expanding its services in Huntsville!
Thrive Alabama now has an independent clinic especially for children! The organization bought a children’s clinic from Crestwood Hospital.
CEO Mary Elizabeth Marr says they can now serve more children. The clinic sees children who are sick, need shots or school physical therapy.
Marr says he is excited about expanding their services.
“A lot of things, like transportation, a sliding scale, we don’t turn anyone away based on their inability to pay. We take all kinds of insurance, whether it’s medicine, medical care, or of course private insurance,” Marr said.
The clinic will remain on the Crestwood Campus until the brand new Thrive Alabama building opens.
