The three-year-olds reunited after making a quick friendship in the hospital while fighting cancer.

They supported each other in the fight against cancer and now they are both in remission. Both are only 3 years old. Sitting on the same floor of Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Mack and Payson in Mesa, Arizona, became close friends while battling various forms of childhood cancer. It was difficult, my parents said. Mack’s mother, Dani Porter, told KHPO/KTVK: Mack’s father, Thai Porter, said the toddlers interact in a way that no one else can. “We can all kind of guess and understand, but they know about 3-year-old childhood cancer.” Dani Porter sees his bond with his son Pason and gives her a new perspective. “During that time, I’ve been exchanging a little video called FaceTime for the past two months, and I’ve been constantly asking each other to meet,” says Mack’s mother, Dani Porter. Spoken with KHPO/KTVK..

Mack’s father, Thai Porter, said the toddlers interact in a way no one else can.

“They know what each other is experiencing, for example they know the mind,” he said. “We can all kind of guess and understand, but they know about 3-year-old childhood cancer.”

Dani Porter said she saw her bond with her son Pason and gave her a new perspective.

“There are so many difficulties in the human experience, and if we just take good care of each other, things can get much better,” she said.
