RHOA alum NeNe Leakes finds buyer for $3.5M Atlanta mansion after husband Gregg’s tragic cancer death

Real Housewives Of Atlanta alum NeNe Leakes found a buyer for her $3.5 million Georgia mansion after her husband Gregg tragically died of cancer.

The Bravo star bought the house with her late husband in 2015 and lowered the price twice in recent weeks at big discounts.

NeNe, 53, found someone bidding on her five-bedroom, seven-bathroom home for nearly double the price she originally bought.

She originally listed it for $4 million, but brought it down to $3.5 million earlier this month.

The 10,000-square-foot estate is located in a gated community outside of Atlanta, equipped with a resort-style pool with a waterfall and beautiful landscape views overlooking a nearby golf course.

The interior has a modern feel, consisting of all-white walls, custom chandeliers in almost every room, a spiral staircase and a huge walk-in closet.

The luxury home also features a movie theater, games room, fireplace and four-car garage.

The house is reportedly on Elaine Richardson’s listing at Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty.

The decision to put the property on the market comes after Nene’s husband Gregg lost his four-year battle with colon cancer last month.

The TV star broke her silence about her heartbreak after his death by sharing a beautiful tribute on Instagram.

In the short clip, Gregg had a green cap on his head and wore a shirt during the sweet dance.

The RHOA alum repeated the lyrics as she lovingly circled him.

NeNe wore a black dress that read, “Gucci” and had stars on it.

Johnny Gill’s song, It Would Be You, played on the dance floor.

The two seemed to be having a good time during their last dance.

The reality star captioned the video with heart emojis.

Gregg was first diagnosed with cancer in 2016, before succumbing to the disease on September 1, at age 66.

A spokesperson told E! News at the time: “Today the Leakes family is in deep heartache.

“After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by all his children, very close loved ones and his wife NeNe Leakes.

“We ask that you pray for peace and strength for their families and allow them to grieve in silence at this very, very difficult time.”

Just a few days ago, Nene revealed the father of six’s last words before his death.

NeNe told People: “The last five days before his passing were really wonderful. All his children were there. His best friends were there. Our best friends were there. We were all sitting with him around the clock.

“We talked a lot and made peace with what happened.

She shared some of her late husband’s last words to her: “I’m not going to leave you. God will bless you.

“He said he wanted me to move on with my life.”

NeNe and Gregg, a real estate investor, first tied the knot in 1997, before divorcing in 2011.

However, the pair would reunite and walk down the aisle again in 2013.

The couple share one child together, Brentt, while Gregg was also father to five other children from previous relationships.

Earlier this month, NeNe held a memorial service for Gregg with a special performance by Tamar Braxton.

NeNE joined her RHOA co-stars Marlo Hampton and Phaedra Parks for a celebration of her late husband’s life at her Atlanta nightclub.
