“Hello! I am seeking help for my friend who has a 14-year-old son at Boston Children’s Hospital with cancer from an inoperable tumor in his mouth. He is currently undergoing long-term chemotherapy and his mother is staying with him.

She is a 42 year old single mother of 4 children. She has three boys and a girl aged 17, 14, 13 and 11. Her oldest son is Omar Colon Falcon and he is 18. Her second son is Wilfredo Molina Jr. he has cancer and he is 14. Her third son is William Molina Falcon, he is 13. Her daughter is Brianna Molina Falcon and she will be 10 this year.

She lives in New Bedford on Brock Ave and can’t work because she has to take care of her son and other children. She just got an eviction notice yesterday and she can’t lose her seat. She doesn’t have a car and she’s terrified of keeping a roof over her kids’ heads, beds they can sleep in, and how they can even give Christmas because they spent Thanksgiving in the hospital.

I try to help as much as possible, but I am a single mother myself. Her children, especially her son with cancer, need warm winter clothes and shoes and coats. Her name is Leilany Falcon, her email address is If you want to help, I’ve set up the GoFundMe page.

I beg you to help this family find resources to keep them in their home and the things they need so that she can focus on her son’s recovery.

Good luck and happy holidays!” -Renee Randall.
