TAMPA, FL — Tampa General Hospital partners with jewelry designer Kendra Scott to raise money for TGH Children’s Hospital. Until Dec. 14, 20 percent of every purchase will be returned to the renovation of TGH Children’s Hospital when Tampa General Hospital is mentioned during the purchase.
As part of this collaboration, TGH Children’s Hospital’s own patient, Abby DiPinto, spent the day at the Kendra Scott Hyde Park Village store designing her own bracelet, called ‘The Abby’.
With dichroic glass, this bracelet shines just like DiPinto. DiPinto spent just under a week at TGH Children’s Hospital after an accident.
“I’m so grateful for the care I’ve received at Tampa General, I want to make it even better for future kids like me,” DiPinto said.
The jewelry is available for purchase at the Kendra Scott stores in Tampa’s Hyde Park Village and the Mall at the University Town Center in Sarasota.
For online purchases of all Kendra Scott jewelry, shoppers can use code GIVEBACK-BBSGG to support an extensive renovation of TGH Children’s Hospital.
The “Abby” bracelet retails for $60. Additional accompaniments feature the signature TGH Children’s Hospital blue and include the TGH Studs for $50, and the TGH Pendant, also for $50.
Tampa General Hospital has rebranded its pediatric inpatient services as TGH Children’s Hospital. Tampa General is reinforcing its commitment to pediatric care and has embarked on an extensive design process to provide a healing environment consistent with the clinical excellence of the region’s only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center.
Starting with the first phase, a $7.5 million refurbishment of two of TGH Children’s Hospital’s three wings, the goal is to provide a light, bright, comforting space that reflects medical advances and best practices. .
