While Moe’s Original BBQ has been competing in Hogs for the Cause’s BBQ competition for five years, the company plans to advance the families of children with childhood cancer this year.
According to a press release, the BBQ company has committed to donating a percentage of its sales on June 1 from all of its 52 locations across the country.
Moe’s Original BBQ looks forward to participating in Hogs For The Cause every year. We continue to be amazed at the growth and success of this great event, ”said Franchise Operations Manager Hunter Whitfield. “I understand the importance of corporate fundraising to make the event a success and I knew our Moe’s family could have a greater impact.”
Hogs for the Cause unites rural barbecue culture to help families with children battling brain cancer. The year-round efforts result in an annual two-day music festival and barbecue competition. The nonprofit works with hospitals to create partnerships, funds, and housing to ease the financial burden of pediatric cancer diagnoses.
