Energy Transfer And Sunoco Raise $1.6 Million To Fund Pediatric Cancer Research At Md Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital
Energy Transfer, Sunoco and its employees have donated more than $10 million
to MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital since 2014
DALLAS, Oct. 28, 2021 — Energy Transfer and Sunoco today announced a $1.6 million donation to MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital through their annual fundraising campaign. The cornerstone of the annual campaign is personal donations from the more than 10,000 employees of Energy Transfer and Sunoco. The total donation amount for 2021 also includes matching funds from Energy Transfer and a donation from the Energy Transfer/Sunoco Foundation. Since 2014, Energy Transfer and Sunoco have raised nearly $10 million to fund childhood cancer research at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Every dollar donated goes directly to the innovative and life-saving cancer research and patient care initiatives at MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital, which aim to advance treatments and care programs for patients around the world.
