ICONIC Hollywood legend Betty White passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021.
The Golden Girls actress was just a few weeks shy of her 100th birthday, which would have been January 17.

Betty White’s acting career spans many decades, she is most remembered for a slew of film and television appearances such as The Golden Girls, The Proposal and Hot in Cleveland.
Did Betty White have children?
Betty White had no biological children of her own, although she did have three stepchildren through her third marriage.
In 1963, the actress married her third husband, Allen Ludden, but he died of cancer in 1981.
Betty has three stepchildren from her marriage to Ludden: David, Sarah and Martha.
During a conversation with CBS in 2012, Betty gave details about her feelings about motherhood.
She told CBS, “No, I’ve never regretted it. I’m so compulsive about things. I know if I ever got pregnant that would have been my whole focus, of course.”
She concluded, “But I didn’t choose to have kids because I’m focused on my career. And I just don’t think as compulsive as I am that I could handle both.”

The ageless actress married her first husband, Dick Barker, in 1945, but they divorced that same year.
In 1947, Betty married Lane Allen, but the couple divorced in 1949.
She married Allen Ludden in 1963 and the two remained married until his death in 1981.

In a CBS interview with Katie Couric, Betty White discussed how she felt about her marriage to Allen Ludden.
The funny lady said, “If you’ve had the best, who needs the rest? It was special. It was very special.”
The late Betty continued: “But that doesn’t stop you from having fun with someone and going out and going on dates. And Robert Redford never calls.”
She went on to reflect, “You’re going out with a couple, say. And all of a sudden you see one or the other reaching out and, or just, you know, something like that. Those are the things I miss.”
