CT ’21: Pediatrician answers questions about COVID vaccine for kids | Connecticut News

(WFSB) — A CDC advisory panel is meeting this week to consider whether Pfizer’s COVID vaccine is available to children ages 5 to 11.

If that approval comes and the CDC director signs it, vaccines will soon open for that age group.

There are nearly 300,000 children in that age range in the state, and we know that parents still have questions.

At CT ’21 this weekend, Dr. Jody Terranova, pediatrician and president of the Connecticut Division of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
