Ontario Parents Advocating for Children with Cancer (OPACC), a registered charity that supports hundreds of families of children with cancer across Ontario (currently including 70+ families in Simcoe County alone), has released a new 2022 wall calendar to raise money for support our families with childhood cancer.
It includes each child’s photo and story (submitted by their parents), as well as a monthly fact about childhood cancer.
The calendar also features two children from Simcoe County: Olive from Duntroon and Sarah from Beeton (both survivors of leukemia).
Calendars can be purchased at www.opacc.org/shop for $15 each ($10 each for orders of 3+).
All proceeds from sales will support the free programs and services of our child cancer family charity in Ontario, including in-hospital support through the Parent Liaison program, community-based child cancer parent support groups throughout Ontario, hospital parking benefits, distribution of gas and food gift cards, and advocacy on issues of concern to families with childhood cancer.
