Benefit To Aid Ellington Resident Battling Cancer | News, Sports, Jobs

ELLINGTON – A chicken barbecue for longtime Ellington resident Debbie (Brown) Rexford, who has been battling cancer for 10 years, will be held at Ellington Fire Hall on May 16 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The fire brigade is located at 769 W. Main St. in Ellington.

Dinners include grilled chicken, potato or macaroni salad, applesauce, a sandwich, and a biscuit. Adult dinners are $ 12, kids dinners are $ 7, and chicken only is $ 7.

Dinner is takeaway only and must be reserved before May 7 by calling or texting Jennifer Gagnon at 450-0030.

Those wishing to make a monetary donation towards the cost of the dinners, contribute food or donate a basket for the Chinese auction, can contact Jennifer Gagnon at the number above.
