MIDLAND, MI – Young people in the Midland region on Tuesday will have the chance to roll up their sleeves and be a public health “superhero”.
Molina Healthcare of Michigan has partnered with the Midland County Department of Public Health to offer a “Be a Hero, Fight COVID” pediatric COVID-19 vaccine clinic from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23 at the Holiday Inn Conference Center, 810 Cinema Drive, in Midland.
The pediatric doses of Pfizer will be available to adolescents ages 5 -17. A parent or guardian must be present for children to receive the vaccine. Participants will have the chance to meet superheroes, receive a free balloon animal and a free gift from Molina.
All participants also have a chance to win a Nintendo Switch Lite. Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck provides free drinks for participants.
The clinic is free and open to the public.
Appointments are encouraged, but pre-registration is not necessary to receive a vaccine. Appointments can be scheduled online here through Midland County.
